Beauty Tips

  • Do your face and eyes get too puffy in the mornings? Rubbing ice cubes over puffy eyes in the morning is believed to help reduce the swelling.

  • You may not want to skip using make-up remover at the end of your day since simply washing your face may not remove all the make-up. Tip – Coconut oil could be used as a natural eye makeup remover, it’s known to be gentle and effective.

Choose your cleanser wisely according to your skin type. Gel based cleansers are believed to be better for oily skin, while cream or milk based cleansers are better for dry skin.

Hair Tips

  • Preferably brush your hair in the morning. The knottier the hair, the dirtier it could get. And it is known to be harder to manage. Brushing your hair before going to bed is also advisable since knotted hair can be very challenging to deal with in the morning and can cause more breakage and damage. Brushing your hair at regular intervals makes it easier to manage and it massages the scalp, which is known to be good for the hair.
  • Using hair serum is known to be beneficial. It is believed to provide not only lustre to the hair, if applied well it also coats every strand of the hair and is known to protect from damage from factors like heat and pollution.
  • We always recommending washing your hair and ensuring it’s dry before you colour them. Oil-free and clean hair is believed to hold colour better.
  • Washing hair too often may not be a good idea since it known to not only dry the hair but the scalp is also believed to release oils faster and in greater quantity to make up for the drying. Hence the scalp may become oilier sooner and the hair flatter looking and more difficult to manage.
  • When choosing a shampoo that may be best for you, keep in mind to pick a sulphate-free shampoo. Sulphate is believed to be harsh on the scalp and can lead to drying of the hair.
