Here is a list of things you need:

1. Hair colour

2. Developer

3. A bowl and hair colour brush

4. Towel

5. Gloves

6. Clock

Step 1: Mixing the colour

Pour the colourant and the developer into a plastic bowl and mix it well with the hair colour brush to ensure that the colour comes out right. Wear gloves to avoid the colour from transferring on to your hands.

Step 2: Applying the mixture

Place a towel around your head to keep the colour from dripping onto your clothes. While applying the colour, always start from the hairline. Take a small section of your hair and apply the colour to this portion. Repeat the same action until you reach the hairline at your neck. Leave the colour on for not more than 30 minutes.

Step 3: Rinse

After 30 minutes, rinse your hair thoroughly with tepid water till the water runs clear. Make sure that the colour is thoroughly removed to avoid product build-up.

Step 4: Condition

Conditioning is a must. You can use the conditioner given in the product set. Apply the conditioner and gently massage your scalp and hair. Leave the conditioner on for 3 minutes and then rinse it well with water.
